Our planet, our lives, and our future are threatened by climate chaos and fossil fuel production.
Fossil fuel projects are a daily health and justice disaster for communities that live near them — especially Indigenous, Black, Brown, Latinx, Asian & Pacific Islander, and other communities of the global majority fighting a long legacy of environmental racism and toxic pollution.
Fossil fuel development is damaging our public lands and sacred Indigenous sites. Fracking continues to contaminate our water and endanger public health. Expansion of oil and gas exports to new markets and major plastics facilities jeopardize the health and safety of communities in the Gulf South and across the country.
Science is clear: We are at a crossroads in the fight against climate change, and fossil fuel projects are the engine of climate catastrophe.
Our climate future depends on stopping new oil, gas, and coal projects now and swiftly phasing out existing fossil fuel production. Leaders can either choose to side with people and phase out fossil fuels, or they can side with industry and drag the world deeper into a state of climate emergency.
